Know More About Me

Grayson Post graduated from Westbrook High School on June 9, 2018!

 

Pre-Graduation:

Grayson Post is a member of the Westbrook High School Class of 2018.  He maintains his 3.46 GPA (89.7) while competing in two varsity sports, playing lacrosse with multiple club teams, training, and working part-time.  Entering his senior year, he ranked 62nd out of 212 students in his class (top 29%).

On April 27, 2017, Grayson was recognized for his excellence in academics by being honored at Westbrook High School’s Academic Recognition Ceremony.

His course load during his senior year includes: Honors Contemporary Literature; Senior Seminar; Biotechnology; Physics/Lab; Pre-Calculus; Peer Tutoring; Business Management; and How to Start Your Own Business.

Past courses that were geared towards his intended career path and interests included Applied Engineering, Intro to Engineering CAD, Robotics, Biology/Lab, Chemistry, Latin, and several Mathematics classes.

Grayson completed his SATs in April 2017, scoring a 560 on Math and a 520 on Evidence-Based Reading & Writing, for a total of 1,080.  He scored 480 (M) + 520 (E-BRW) = 1,000 on his PSATs, which were taken during his sophomore year.

His extracurricular activities include active participation in Big Brothers Big Sisters and Westbrook Communities That Care, as well as volunteering at the Westbrook Community Food & Resource Center.  He was also on the Westbrook High School Summer Reading Program Planning Committee.  Grayson’s a certified youth soccer referee, and worked on the 2015 election campaign for Westbrook City Council candidate Michael Dobkowski.

On the athletic field, he is a four-year varsity player in both lacrosse and soccer, a three-time team captain, and a four-time all-conference selection.

He would like to pursue a career in business administration and compete in lacrosse at the collegiate level.
